  • ACM is a lightweight rigid material made up of two thin painted aluminium sheets sandwiching a polyethylene plastic core. We have used it on several FIRST Tech Challenge competition fields. We've got it, and we know it's great stuff to work with so why not offer it to everyone to help dress up robots?

    ACM can be used in some applications where you would normally use polycarbonate, such as a sponsor panel or an electronics panel. Note that since it's aluminium, the surface is conductive if the paint is scratched. We do not recommend using it in a location that is likely to see impact.
